Where to Stay: New York

Millennium Broadway Hotel
During our time in New York, we stayed at the Millennium Broadway, a 4 star hotel in Times Square. It’s location is perfect, on a quiet road just off from the centre of Times Square, ensuring you are mere feet away from the centre of the city but avoid the noise. Indeed, you couldn’t hear a sound from our room, but that might have been helped by our location on the 47thfloor! We highly recommend getting a room on the higher floors, as the view of the city is really fantastic. We were especially lucky as during our stay, there was a firework display on the Hudson river in celebration of Chinese new Year; we had an amazing view from our large window, and got to watch the dark sky lit up with an array of colours.
The bedroom was very spacious, with extremely comfy beds and a large sized television. There were tea and coffee making facilities, which also include take-out style cups, handy when you want to get up and go in the mornings. The bathroom was also a great size, with a comfy bath and lovely coconut toiletries.
We didn’t require breakfast during our stay, but guest who want it can eat in Restaurant Charlotte or select room service for an additional fee. There is also a shop located in the lobby, open until late in the evening and selling a variety of drinks, snacks and souvenirs. The front desk was well staffed at all times, meaning check in and check out was very efficient, The concierge was also extremely helpful, even printing out our Knicks tickets free of charge after we forgot to do it at home! Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Millennium Broadway, a hotel that is in our top spot for the perfect location on a city break.
